It's Par-Tay Time!

For Glenn's 32nd, I helped mom throw together a kick-bum party. Here are the highlights:

A Great Day for The Birds

This morning, despite the snowy conditions we all went hunting again.

It was such a lovely time, romping with my new friends Otto, Chili and Taylor.

Taylor is Mr Eddie's new pup and he sure is a cute little devil. I was really having fun with him and mom said I might be able to hang out with him again some day.

For Otto and Taylor it was their first day on birds and boy were they on it! Natural born hunters, if I ever saw some.

Of course I wasn't so shabby myself. The poor conditions, no wind and dry air didn't help matters but I knew some quail was out there with my name on it.

Glenn even had a chance to "run me" for the first bird and he did a great job!! Woo hoo!!

Then mom bought out the big guns (well a starter pistol really) and we did some intense work on the next two. Another day of hunting success!

Now... when is the next training session Mr. Rich??

I'm Snow Happy it's Friday

Today, I woke up to my most favorite day: Friday. It is the day that Mom and Glenn are most happy too because we all know that tonight when they escape from work we'll all be together doing really fun things for approximately 56 straight hours.

And today it was an even better Friday because when I looked out the window I saw this:

I know it's hard to see me through all of this snow...
Here I am running through the woods...

Here we are having a snowball fight in white-out conditions...

Here is Mom making a snow angel and me licking snow off her face. She and I both had our white coats on so we just blended in...

And after all the fun in the morning I think I am just going to cozy up and wait for Mom and Glenn to get home... only 4 hours and 50 minutes to go...

Hosting Scottish Beauties

With Westminster just ended (major props for making the group cut Miss Koppertone!) and so many international dog celebrities around, I have been thinking that it would be nice to have a couple international guests of my own.

So I wanted to grant the dreamiest of dreams for my most favorite Red Girls and show them how much fun they have had with me in the Big Apple. Here is the photo montage put together with a little help from my mom...

The Red Girls flew all night, yet their hair was perfectly coiffed!

Right away the Red Girls dove into city life - whizzing by in cabs! Uptown! Downtown!

First Item on their Fantasy Weekend List: Prada!

Then it was running and playing with me in Central Park!

The Red Girls can't get enough sightseeing!

I hope they enjoyed their Dream Weekend in NYC. Maybe Someday I'll venture across the pond to see those wild Scottish Highlands, and catch a Haggis of my own!

2-Hour Tour

Today, I don't know what got into mom and Glenn, but they took me on a TWO hour walk! Sweet!

We went from our apartment, down the west side of Central Park, around the Lake, over to the boat house, up to the oval, walked around the oval TWICE, and then finally meandered out way home. Whew! It was an amazing adventure for a rather chilly day. Here are some photos of the trip.

Letter to My Friends Across The Pond

Dear Red Girls, Radio, Charlie Morph, et. all:

Where are you? You have been slacking in your postings and I am sad not to know what mischief you've been up to. Only Charlie has any news... sigh. I hope all is well. Please write soon.

Wuff,
Brisztow Jones

Super Treat Monday

Super Bowl Sunday was followed with an even bigger event in my opinion -- Super Treat Monday! Mom ordered up a whole shipment from White Dog Bone and it arrived Monday just in time for the week to begin.

I received 30 bully sticks, 10 knasty knuckles, 5 rawhide bones, a waterproof duck that floats, and a cow that Mooooooooooooooo's.

Glenn isn't so pleased with that last one, but I really wuff to make the cow moo.

Super Bowl Sunday

Today we rented a car (don't even ask what happened to mom's car -- she gets really upset) so that we could go the the Nelson's Super Bowl Party.

I was able to play with Caroline and Matthew, and snack on all the delicious food found under Ms. Laura's couch and coffee table. Stale popcorn is really quite good. Once the game started it was all bid-ness. Glenn wuffs the Giants, but Mr. Kevin was rooting for the Patriots. Back and fourth back and fourth each team would advance and take the lead. Tension was high. In the end it was the Giants that prevailed and I felt badly for Mr. Kevin. His team had almost a perfect season... until the Giants rumbled into town. I am hoping he won't hold a grudge and will invites us again next year.

Time to take stock

Now that we're getting back into the swing of things I thought it was time to take stock of my supplies for the winter. Ground Hog's Day is tomorrow and who know how many more weeks of winter will forecasted by Mr. Punxsutawney Phil.

It seems like I better request more supplies!
