So mom and Dad finally closed on the new apartment. After about 5 months of contract negotiations and back and forth with lawyers and banks and sellers and buyers...

Lots to Do.

I have been keeping busy here in the country.

In addition to lounging in the sun I have successfully defended Mutti and Pappa-Dino from a bug in the family room, and managed to point my soccer ball in the back yard for 2 continuous minutes.

Whew. This is hard work being on vacation.

Countrified

I am out in the country for the next two weeks.

Mutti and Pappa-dino picked me up from the city yesterday and here I am in the middle of no-where-PA.

But I really wuff it.

Mutti loves to garden and that means she needs a buddy like me outside keeping her company. I wuff to lie in the sun and lounge while she tends to all the work.

Ahhh. I like life of a noblewoman.

Inputs Less Than Outputs

Dad was discussing a theory this morning about the economics behind inputs and outputs.

He contributes to a blog called The Oil Drum and these guys do a lot of high level thinking.

Dad was saying that in terms of Vizsla Love Units (or VLUs), the input of Mom and Dad's Love gains exponential returns.

The more love they put in to me, the more love I put back out to them - double and triple amounts infact.

He was also saying something about bottling VLUs and selling them on the black market but I don't really know what means.

More of that high level thinking I guess.

Keeping Busy

After all the swimming I have been doing to prep for the Olympics, I wanted to get back into dry land for a bit. I have been mainly focusing on my ball skills.

I've been also going after a lot of squirrels.

And because of this mom and dad have a hunting adventure planned for me in October!

We are going with Mr Andrew and the Bronx Bombers in the Team Vizslamobile up to a hunting reserve called TMT. It is about 75 miles north of the city in the Hudson Valley.

Miss Deb says this is called "real hunting" not just lessons.

Since Mr. Andrew is a hunting judge, I figure he might have a few good pointers for me.

Anyway, I hope I do a good job!

What a Resource, Too Bad it's Only in the UK

North by Northwest

This weekend was wonderful. Full of lots of mom and dad time.

On Friday night we went to Riverside park with Miss Cara, Mr. Chris and Miss Heather. I really like 'nuggling with Miss Heather because she really knows how to show me the attention I deserve. Especially when she rubs under my chin and behind my ears. woah. That is what I am talkin' about.

The movie was "North by Northwest", a classic Alfred Hitchcock/Carey Grant joint and it was very suspenseful.

After the plane scene I know why mom is nervous about flying.


Run Mr Grant! Run! The Plane is coming!


The train adventure was fascinating to me too since Mom and Dad will be going on a train when they visit Europe. I am going to go stay with Mutti and Pappa-Dino. I think they are lonely and want to have me come visit so I am happy about my vacation.

Riding The Wave

Sorry that I have been absent for so long, but let me fill you in on what I have been up to.





After leading the Hungarian Waterpolo team to the Olympic Gold...


































I decided to take time off from my training a bit and take a trip to Disney World.





































And then I hosted Miss Jackie, Mr Eddie and Taylor here in the city. Mom and Dad went out to Long Island to watch their other dogs, Marley and Dillon, and it was my job to play host and show them my 'hood. I wuff Taylor. Maybe he can stay with us again. I am going to go ask mom!
