A Visit with Baxter -- The BEARCAT!

This weekend we drove up to Binghamton New York for the 3rd Annual John McKenna IV Memorial 5K run.

It was a lot of fun hanging out with Ms Susan and Mr George, while Dad and Ms Maureen doing the actual running. Mom and I were the cheerleaders. Go! Go! GO!

I also got to hang with the Binghamton U mascot, Baxter the Bearcat. Last year, I was quite intimidated by him, but this year I knew he was friendly and that there was nothing to worry about.

All-in-all it was a great day, for a great cause.

Bunny Love

I wuff this time of year -- the squirrels and bunnies are hopping about, and everything is so fragrant. Especially these guys....

One even has my name on it!

There is all sorts of new ways to communicate these days. Blogging, social networks, and now Tweeting.

Hmm.... I know birds had a lot going on but now it seems they have branched out in to the digital space.

Twitter is the latest thing that I have signed up for-- to get the word out there about the UMA. It's really the best way to disseminate information virally.

As a part of my World Domination Plan, I thought it best to practice my signals so that I can easily communicate with my UMA troops once they arrive.

Surprise!

Last night, we had a surprise guest.

Ms. Melissa made a cameo appearance at our Irish Feast of Beef Stew and Colcannon.

She is so wonderful. And I wuff her. She might have been a spy for Ms. Deb to see how the weight maintenance is going (after all she is the owner of Ms. Melissa's Camp for Fat Bitches), as well as the new apartment and puppy raising facilities.

I am expecting to receive a full report any day now. All A's of course....

Spring is Springing!

Outside there are so many signs of spring. Yummy squirrels are making nests for their tasty babies, the crocuses are slowly coming up, and delicious birds are flying from tree to tree....

Yes, I am still on the diet.

How could you tell?

It's not going well from my perspective. I thought for sure that mom would be a real pushover and that once I got back home we'd go back to my regular diet of too much food and way too many treats. But alas, this hasn't happened. Ms. Deb must have really given her some marching orders.

Back in the Routine

After spending so much time having fun on my country vacation, I've been having a hard time coming back to the daily grind.

Ugh.

It's nothing but belly rubs and lying on the couch.

As Close as I Got

vHarmony: The Meeting

His name is Bodi, he lives all the way across the country, and he's my vHarmony match.

We drove to the vet's office where I thought the Big Meeting would take place, and waited patiently for them to call my name...

But wouldn't you know it... he didn't even show up!

It turns out that Bodi just sent a little care package for the vet to give to me.

Woah! Shazam!

That is not quite what I was expecting. I mean... what is that all about?

What about the romantic walks in the moonlight? The yummy tasting flowers? The candy? And the poems? A girl's got to fussed over! It just isn't fair.

But well, whatever it takes to assemble the troops.
