A Visit with Baxter -- The BEARCAT!
This weekend we drove up to Binghamton New York for the 3rd Annual John McKenna IV Memorial 5K run.
It was a lot of fun hanging out with Ms Susan and Mr George, while Dad and Ms Maureen doing the actual running. Mom and I were the cheerleaders. Go! Go! GO!
I also got to hang with the Binghamton U mascot, Baxter the Bearcat. Last year, I was quite intimidated by him, but this year I knew he was friendly and that there was nothing to worry about.
All-in-all it was a great day, for a great cause.

Binghamton! I remember when we were living upstate we got a call from somebody on Long Island and they kept pronouncing it "bing-HAMP-ton", like it was one of the Hamptons out east on the island. Ummm, not quite ...
Locally, it's call bing-HAM-ton.
