Keeping Busy

After all the swimming I have been doing to prep for the Olympics, I wanted to get back into dry land for a bit. I have been mainly focusing on my ball skills.

I've been also going after a lot of squirrels.

And because of this mom and dad have a hunting adventure planned for me in October!

We are going with Mr Andrew and the Bronx Bombers in the Team Vizslamobile up to a hunting reserve called TMT. It is about 75 miles north of the city in the Hudson Valley.

Miss Deb says this is called "real hunting" not just lessons.

Since Mr. Andrew is a hunting judge, I figure he might have a few good pointers for me.

har, har,....
pointers....

Anyway, I hope I do a good job!

Hi Bristow! My girl Celeste is a soccer freak, too! Her only problem is that she's a little TOO overboard and usually ends up punching holes in the ball. She's a Siberian, so no hunting for her, just running, running, running!

Your Majesty:

We are quite confident that you will distinguish yourself amongst the gamebirds. We are very pleased that you will be blessing us with your company. Being a special guest, you'll be allowed to sit in the truck with your human parents -- the riff-raff will be in the back.

Sincerely,

Ms. Jones: I'm sure the Bronx Bombers will have many pointers for you. That Momo knows how to do blue ribbons!

My vizslas enjoy squirrels very much. Cats, rats, moles, and chipmunks are also great fun to chase. Alas, we're short of pheasants and big birds for them to point at around here (though a guy along one of our walking routes does have an emu farm...)
