Fourth of July

This weekend, Mom Dad and I went on a bit of a road trip. First we picked up Auntie Maureen and headed up to Binghamton to visit Ms. Susan and Mr George. Boy was it great to get out of the hot city!

On with way up we stopped at the Stroudsmoor Inn where Auntie Maureen will be getting married next July. It was a very pretty resort -- complete with pool. Sweet!

Once we got to "BC" aka broome county, we did a lot of outdoor things like long walks and hanging out outsides, and swimming in the river. It was great fun.

Binghamton was actually chilly at night -- so much so that mom need to wear sweats and a long sleeve t-shirt.

On the 4th of July we went to Mutti and Papa-dino's in Bethlehem so that we could participate in the annual post-firework water battle. Papa-dino bought a wide range of fireworks for the show, and the Nelsons provided the various water weapons, pre-loaded. So what actually happened was TWO water battles - once when the Nelsons arrive and then again after the big show! We had a lot of fun running around and getting wet or at least trying to stay dry.

Another fun thing that happened is that my little Teller sent a photo of her patriotic Fourth of July decorations.
