Entering the Danger Zone

The weekend was wonderful. Not only did I get to see Mutti and Pappa-dino, Ms. Laura, Mr. Kevin, Caroline and Matthew, but we all went to get our Christmas trees together, went on a night-time lights tour of Bethlehem, and were blasted away by Pappa-dino's 50 inch plasma home entertainment system while watching Top Gun.

Woah.

We weren't on the Highway to the Danger zone. We were IN the danger zone.

Pappa-dino insisted that turning up the sub woofer was really the best thing, and I could FEEL those jets taking off. And since the plasma display is HD (mom says that means high definition) we got to see EVERY sweaty pore of those handsome Naval Aviators.

So here's to you Ice Man, Goose, Hollywood and Maverick. You made it a very interesting weekend. Now if I could just get my hearing back...

Oh my, I'm sorry, Brisztow. I saw that movie for the first time this summer, and even with the aid of RiffTrax the loss of those 110 minutes weighs heavily on my head. I can't imagine watching it in HD without the bad jokes!
