Just Like Laika

Anything Laika can do, I can do better.

That motto has been the foundation of my friendship with Laika and it holds true once again.

Laika gets Kennel Cough, and five days later [cough, hack, wheeze] I get it even worse.

Mom just took me to see Dr. Rosenthal yesterday and she gave me some antibiotics as [cough, hack, wheeze] well as a cough suppressant that makes me sleepy. [cough, hack, wheeze] But this cough is no fun.

I first started coughing Monday afternoon and mom thought "I better make an appointment"! Since it is [cough, hack, wheeze] very contagious I have been on house arrest and reduced romping time. No FUN!

Dr. Rosenthal said mom and Glenn [cough, hack, wheeze] should "steam me" when they are taking their showers each morning. [cough, hack, wheeze]What a Show!

All I know is that now, because of this terrible [cough, hack, wheeze] sickness I will not be able to go hunting with my VCLI buddies this weekend. [cough, hack, wheeze]

I was so looking forward to seeing Dillon, Marley, Mr. Eddie and Ms. Jackie and Mr Rich. sigh....

Maybe I can meet up with them as soon as I get better!
