Putting Him Through the Paces of Being My Dad

Since Glenn is now my new Dad, I thought I'd go ahead and start putting him through his paces to see if he can meet all of my expectations.

First Challenge: The Chicken Dinner.

Mom suggested that Glenn make dinner for us all tonight and so I was there to assist (read: judge) his performance.

He elected to roast a chicken (that's 10 points right out of the gate) complete with sweet potatoes and broccoli. Very well balanced and all things that I can eat (good for another 5 points).

As he worked in the the kitchen, I made sure I was right by him to let him know exactly how mom would do things. I know he found that helpful! The only problem was that he didn't let anything fall on the floor for a taste test, so that is a negative 3 points, bringing him to 12 points out of 15.

Good thing he has a "Flying Dog" to help him get through this! And because I wuff dogs and he's drinking Flying Dog pale ale I will award him the Gold Merit for Personal Taste (it is a very high honor, you know).

Blokes being. What blokes are. Pretty Mz Brizstow Jones - hope you will continue to put Glenn through his paces (one good performance is not enough)

You have to set him more and bigger challenges. Ummmmm. Who gets up first in the morning to attend to your wishes??

Ginger sisterly ones XXXX
