Ending the Staycation

To wrap up our Memorial Day Staycation, Mom packed up the picnic basket and we headed to Central Park for a sunset dinner.

Oh, you do know what a Staycation is, right?

It's when you have a vacation, but you don't ever actually leave your house. Instead of sunning on the beach or going camping, mom and Glenn decided staying in the Big Apple and relaxing would be vacation enough. So we have been on a Staycation for the past three days.

Woo hoo.

I, for one, am VERY relaxed.

And the picnic was a delicious way to end the celebration.

Staycations: what a fabulous idea! You deserve a holiday after all your furious bloggery of the last week or so.

Glad you like "8mm" as well... although all those pics of Glen all bundled up for early mornings in Central Park has me already looking forward to fall and winter. But then again, I started thinking about fall as soon as the beginning of March.

As for a visit: maybe we can come down in mid-June?

with best wishes

How would Saturday the 14th be? Mom has a computer course both days of the following weekend... and then we're going to the BEACH!

We had a Memorial Day Staycation weekend ourselves. Gas too expensive and with mom & dad putting up the Cuppy's cafe I guess we're saving our pennies.
