Preparation for the Weekend.

So mom has told me that I am going to be participating in a "Show" this weekend. I don't know what I am going to be showing everyone, but she said that Jenna will handle me and I will get lots of treat. She called them "Bait." I hope they aren't worms! Mom and I have been doing all sorts of fun things. She asks me to stand, and I sit. She asks me to stay, and I come. She asks me to come and I stay. I think it is such a fun game. I call it "Frustration!" It's a great game.

I have also played "Frustration!" with my Uncle Kevin. It was back in October.

Mom, Mutti, Pappa-Dino and Caroline were all going out to dinner, so I was at the Nelsons hanging out with Uncle Kevin. When I had to go outside, he thought it would be ok to let me out without a leash because Mom always does that. Ha! I fooled him! As soon as I got out the door, I was off - like a bullet into the night, searching for mom. I didn't just stay in the yard - I expanded my search to include the entire neighborhood. Oh, and did I mention that it was pitch black out? That was all apart of the fun. We had a merry chase and about 45 minutes later, I grew tired of the game and waited patiently on the front step for Uncle Kevin to finish. It was a great time. Maybe one day I will play with you!

Anyway I digress. So tonight mom has a bath and grooming on the schedule in preparation for the weekend. Huh. We'll see about that!
