Cancer Crusade

While my mom and Glenn are off running around Italy this week I have been working on another crusade: to help in the fight against skin cancer. That might not sound like much but melanoma can be very serious.

I have been staying with Mutti and Poppa-dino for the past week. Boy was I surprised when they drove into the City to pick me up! I got into the car under mom's direction, got buckled in, the door was closed, but Glenn and Mom were left on the sidewalk! How could Mutti and Poppa-Dino forget them?? I guess they wanted me all to themselves.

Once they got me back to their house, they put me right to work in a PR and Entertainment capacity. You see next Saturday, bright and early, Mutti, Ms Cathy and Matthew will be walking in the 5K race that raises money for Race Against The Sun, an organization whose mission is to increase awareness, prevention and early detection of Melanoma. Ms. Laura will be working at the raffle table, while Caroline and her Brownie Troop will be handing out water at the water station.

To get the word out, we made banners and rallied the troops. Here I am working in crowd control while Caroline places a sign in front of the "Poppa-razzi."

On a side note

Canine Americans: I have received the much appreciated support of both US and International constituents, as well as one nomination for President. We shall run under the Vizsla Party. Please vote in '08!
