Weekend Summary: Or How We Stayed Busy without Mom

Mom left Thursday for a business trip. She really was sad to go but gave Glenn strict marching orders to have fun with the Pup-Pup!"

Thursday night:
Mom left and Glenn arrived almost right afterward. Moved around a lot in the bed at night, ending in Glenn's spot.

Friday:
Glenn walked me twice in the morning, including going to the green market on 97th street where we turned in our old milk bottle and got a new one. Woo-hoo! Re-using in action!

Saturday:
I spent all morning with Glenn in the park first walking around the northern part of Central Park and then sleeping while Glenn read his book.

Sunday:
I woke up at the crack of dawn to register cyclists for the NYC Century Bike Tour. That is the 100 mile "race" around the five Manhattan boroughs held every fall. Last year Glenn rode it in (on the 35 mile route) the weekend before the Big Break. I bet he was having flash backs.

We met lots of interesting folks and I made them all smile. On the way home -- around 8am!! -- met two older Viszlas. The owner convinced Glenn that owning two Viszlas was easier than just one because then they have a playmate 24/7....Glenn went to church and then came home to walk me and then he went to Farm Aid concert with his sister and my soon-to-be new Aunt, Maureen.

Treat Tally:

5 treats,
3 bully sticks
and 1 pig ear...
a nice haul if I say so myself! Keep em coming Glenn and mom will quickly be on the "B" list!

Oooh I've just discovered bully sticks except our shop calls them 'bull's pizzles'. They take ages to eat and keep me quiet for quite a while. They're yummy.
