Canine Americans -- UNITE!

Glenn, Mr. George and Ms. Susan are always marching around, fighting for the rights of one thing or another. It's got me to thinking: I need to fight for MY rights.

As a Canine American I am often banned from places like restaurant, the subway and areas of the park. I am forced to move out of the path of people. strollers, bikes and cars. I am not allowed on public transportation, or even in the post office. Sometimes I am allowe din taxis but then mom usually makes me stay on the florr or in her lap so that I don't touch the seats.

I just don't get it. Why am I treated so differently than my mom and other family members? How am I so different from them?

Even across the pond in England, France and other countries my fellow Vizsla kin are allowed far more placed than I -- and they are allowed off leash! It's just amazing.

I have asked mom about this and she wasn't able to give me a really good answer why things are so different. She just said if I wasn't

So here is my Battle Cry: CANINE AMERICANS UNITE.

This is it - our chance to really make a statement that we should be allowed more places, to eat at the dinner table, to lie on any bed or couch we want, to stop being second-class citizens!

Let's band together under the banner of Brotherhood Across Species!

Who is with me?

Hey Brisztow. You must feel really low. Are you really not allowed off lead!!! I am sure there are things over there for you that are better than for us in the UK.

I'm with you Brisztow - my mum and dad couldn't believe the restrictions on dogs when they went to the states this summer. Us well behaved dogs are let down by the bad ones i guess - or is that the bad owners!

Hey Bristow
I just wanted to let you know that I'm with you! Let me know I how to get the campaign started.

But my mom's a bit of a downer and says that even if they never allow dogs to be first class citizens here she promises to take me to all those countries where we'll have the good life. (I'm going to pretend to go along with that sos we can go on lots of trips.)

Count me in. A young vizsla can not chase birds at the beach on a leash.

I'm with you all the way! and you only need to think of france or germany, dogs in restaurants, in shops... in paris they even have human/dog bakeries.....and my friend shusaku from japan says that if you call someone elses dog a dog and not by its name it is offensive (i.e. no, this is not a dog, it is pretty mrs brisztow jones! you're talking about)...

i mean, imagine all the people who should be on a lead but aren't, so why should 4 legged beings be? (canada is worse though)
