At The Greenwich Specialty

This weekend are two important dog shows. They are called "specialties" because the Vizsla clubs in the area are hosting special shows along-side the official AKC show. The specitalties are for non-champions (like me and my brother Owe'n) and I get MONEY if I win. Woah! I could use some more nasty knuckles!
There are no points towards my title awarded at specitaly shows, just prestige because SOOOOO-ooo many Vizsla enter. After the specialty show there is a second, supported-entry show, and that is the one that could give me points towards my title.
This Saturday 121 Vizslas came to the dog show. Not all were in the specialty, but a majority were. I won my "12 to 18 month bitches" class, and tried my best in the "finals" but it wasn't meant to be. Ms Ida, tried her best too, but it was my fault I didn't win --- free stacking isn't my strong suit so when I wasn't doing it correctly, I lost to brother Owe'n. Of course, if anyone else beats me I always hope its him! Thank you Ms. Ida for being so patient.
Ms. Stern and Mom thought it best that I go home with Ms. Stern for the night so that I would get my "show face" on. So mom took my mama, Mama Siren, back into the city with her!
I hope she likes hanging out at all my haunts. I think Mama Siren will be writing an entry or two herself about her adventures and thoughts on New York City. I gave her my passwords, so I hope she can figure out all the technology and intricate programming I have to do to make this blog look fantastic... take it away Mama Siren!
