Vet Visit
Yesterday, Mom came home from work early to take me to the vet. Dr. Rosenthal checked out my stitches and said they were beautiful. I don't think she and I were looking at the same thing. I thought they were gross and tried to nip them off.
The stitches were cleaned up more and then re-wrapped which felt good. My new wrap is "safety green" and really brings out the red in my coat. Now that's what I call beautiful.
I was also given a new new IV-bag Booty to be used in the wet weather and was told not go on the grass too much.
Dr. Rosenthal doesn't realize that I ONLY go on grass, though. Mom has tried to get me to be a side walk convert, but Ms. Deb's early training is just too powerful. And besides who wants to drop trow in front of everyone? That's embarrassing.
Anyway, mom and I discussed it and that is one request we just can't stick with, so I'll be wearing the booty whenever I am outside. The IV-bag Booty does make me walk funny, though, so it's a good thing that I am scheduled to have my stitches removed next Tuesday at 3:40. I am counting down the minutes.
When we were leaving the vet's office Dr. Rosenthal asked my mom if we had insurance because this is the kind of great reason to have it. I guess she sees a lot of cut toes in her practice. It's just another tough tale of an UrbanMutt.
