Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5

One of the best things about New York City in the Summer are the free Concerts in the Parks. They are held in parks through out the city and it are attended by thousands and thousands of people.

Last night I went to my very first concert in the Park: the New York Philharmoic playing Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. The concert was hosted on the "Great Lawn", and we found a nice spot to put down our blanket. It was amazing: the music, the wine, the lightning bugs.

A truly enjoyable evening.

But then it rained....

Wait... Rain is too small of a word.

It was a torrential downpour, soaking me through my fur! There was lightening and thunder streaking across the sky! Nature's fireworks -- as a follow-up to the man-made ones we just saw at the end of the concert.

It was one long walk home.

Ruby and I went to the park last weekend but not to see a concert. We went to run!!!!
It was fun even though I had to stay on my retractable leash.
