One of mom's best friends, Becky Matthews, and Ms. Becky's husband Mr. John came up on Friday to visit mom and meet me. After work, mom knew she had to get to work to make the apartment presentable, so based on her furious cleaning I knew we'd be having visitors.

All evening, every time the elevator doors opened in the hallway, I knew that someone was here to see us.

Sound the Alarm!

After the sixth time sounding the alarm, with no one actually knocking on our door, I finally just settled down and resolved to wait these visitors out.

Around 8:30, they finally arrived!

Ms. Becky and Mr. John were some great! They totally ignored mom and knew the pup to win-over was me! They rubbed my ears and belly. They talked in high-pitched voices. They even admired my nasty knuckle! Officially, they are now my favorite people ever!

I looked adoringly into John's eyes, working the cute hex of course, and he was smitten! Ha! My powers are so great!

It wasn't until John took out his camera, that I realized perhaps my powers are too great. He wouldn't stop taking photos. I finally had to hide behind mom's chair before he would put the camera away.

Mom said they live near a place called Disney World, that's run by a mouse named Mickey. I wonder if I could catch this little mouse? I wuff playing with the rats I see on our evening walks, so I bet chasing a mouse would be just as much fun!

After a little bit, Mom and the Matthews went out for dinner -- they had 10:45pm reservations at Mario Batali's restaurant, Babbo. I settled into my nap.

Around 1:40am, they finally arrived home full and tipsy, so I greeted them with licks and wiggles, and we all promptly fell back to sleep. Mom thought it best we sleep in, and since I had been practicing that at Ms. Deb's I was able to let them sleep until 8am. I'm such a great pup!

Once we all got up, we walked over to the east side to meet Glenn for brunch at Cilantro. Yummy! Mom brought me a rawhide!

I wuff eating al fresco!
